If you’re here, something in your life feels heavy, confusing, isolating or overwhelming (or all of the above!) – and you’re trying to figure out what to do next. Get in touch to connect with me and begin your journey.
Who I work with
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor – I work with individuals and couples who are stuck in patterns or carrying a heavy load that never seems to ease. That may be in the form of anxiety, trauma, infidelity, identity, parenting challenges or experiences of loss. I also support people looking for deeper answers to questions around existentialism, meaning and purpose.
What you’ll experience in sessions
Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level ‘feel better fast’ tactics. It’s about exploration, clarity, authenticity and lasting change – always with a foundation of safety and respect.
Here’s what I offer:
- A warm, non-shaming presence – a safe space to be whoever you are
- Depth and nuance – we go underneath symptoms to the root
- Tailored approach – the work is about you, not a rigid model
- Practical clarity – you’ll understand yourself better, not just feel heard
Therapy with me combines talk-based exploration with creative and somatic tools – if this is right for you.
A bit about me (and why this matters!)
I’ve spent 15+ years working with people in vulnerable, painful, messy, wonderful and courageous parts of their lives. Across NHS, Women’s Aid, community work, charities and private practice. I’ve worked in specialist services supporting people affected by sexual abuse, care experience and trauma – meaning I understand how complex, delicate and empowering this work can be. I also volunteer some of my time offering trauma-informed support to frontline workers.
I’m a mother of three – so I understand the deep well and spiky edges of family life, identity, loss and resilience. That lived experience informs my work in a real way – it is relational, authentic and honest at all times.
Here’s how I can support you
I offer:
- Short-term focused support (when that’s what you need)
- Longer-term therapy where depth and growth are a priority
- Flexibly paced work that honours your own rhythm and lifestyle – weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or even twice weekly if that feels beneficial
- Sessions in-person at my therapy centres in Middlewich or Sandbach or home visits in the local area (dependent on availability and suitability)

Supporting other Counsellors and Psychotherapists & Staying Current
Alongside my private practice, I work with other therapists in several ways:
- Hosting and running a professional book club to explore new ideas and approaches
- Managing Insightful Life’s therapy centres and providing a welcoming therapeutic space for colleagues and clients
- Delivering training and workshops to support professional growth
- Hosting a monthly drop-in for therapists to reflect and connect
Engaging with other therapists in these varied ways keeps my practice fresh, up to date and informed. The learning and development I continue to do directly benefits my work – ensuring that therapy with me is current, reflective and rooted in both experience and evidence.
